Here's hoping the excellent work being done on the Anglican Divine Office will have a spillover effect on the upcoming work on re-translating the Roman Liturgy of the Hours. In particular, the following elements may be of use:
--the Anglican hymn translations (which can be found on Divinum Officium website, et al) and the suppression of the extra-canonical hymns found today
--the traditional names for the hours restored
--the sung nature of the psalms themselves emphasized and provided for
--the as of now ignored two-year cycle of Biblical readings in The Office of Readings (Lessons) actually used
--finding a way to better emphasize that the day hours are, in fact, part of the Office
--add in a ceremonial guide to help with public celebrations of solemn vespers, Christmas Eve Matins, and Tenebrae
